The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of characters who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might look unsuited, but the events of episode 3 show why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his personal gain, entering the secret base, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then settled his debts and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan knows the region and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the team access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This means them few options but to head to Timmony in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.

Viewers can expect finding out which adventurers will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
